Type

Launching Gantry : 100 ton ~ 2,000 ton

Gilyoung SNC is supply based on wealth of global field experience and new technology facilities for the loading and unloading of heavy materials such as large bridges building materials, transportation, transfer, from design to supply, design, and production.
We are implementation to the installation and operation of the equipment work at the customer's request.

Span length : 20 - 100+m
Usual Length : Minimum 600 - 800 segments
Usual cycle time / span : 1-2 days / span

Straddle Carrier and Tyre Trolley : 100 ton ~ 2,000 ton

Gilyoung Straddle Carrier and Tyre Trolley is designed and fabricated according to the site conditions for transporting various heavy equipment and large structure.

Compared to normal gantry cranes which move on fixed rails, the Straddle Carrier has the flexibility to lift and steer heavy loads in any direction on motorised wheels. These Straddle Carriers' lifting capacities normally range from 100 ton to 2000 ton. Each machine is custom-designed and fabricated under tight supervision to meet the client's requirements.

The Straddle Carriers are equipped with reliable systems of hydraulic equipment, winches, ropes, and electric and hydraulic motors. These highly mechanised machines come complete with emergency features and safety switches to ensure safe use while handling heavy loads.

M.S.S (Underslung & Overhead Type of Movable Scaffolding System)

Underslung & Overhead Type
The Underslung & Overhead Type of MSS is one of the most recognized systems in the world today for span-by-span in-situ construction of bridges. The system is renowned for its lightweight, practical efficiency in operation, and innovative ideas. One of the latest innovations enables the underslung type MSS to operate without the need for external cranes or lifting equipment.

This system is best suitable installation place is top of the bridge high piers for over the river, or external crane access is difficult or impossible case.


Main features are as following
• Bracket self launching without the need for external crane
• Transverse Beam folding system reduce the open of the main girder
• Bottom slabs are folded by hydraulic cylinder
• Lightweight
• High efficiency, 8~15 days per span
• For simply span and/or continuous span
• Span length from 20m to 80m


Beam Lunchers

Pre-cast concrete beam girders ('I', 'T', 'M' beams and etc.) are most widely used for short span bridges and viaducts.
The pre-cast beams are usually lifted and placed on the pier heads using cranes or other hoisting equipment from the ground below.
However, for bridges crossing over water or viaducts with high piers and/or difficult ground conditions, a Beam Launcher is commonly used to lift the pre-cast beams in place.
There are 2 types of Beam Launchers supplied the single-box type and the twin-truss type.

Bridgebuilder – Formtralveller

"The Economic Performance of Bridge Projects Bridge Builder"

The "Bridgebuilder" formtraveller system was invented in 1970 and today it is acclaimed for enhancing the cost-effectiveness of bridge projects world-wide.
Gilyoung has continually improved the Bridgebuilder in collaboration with major contractors. The system is lightweight, versatile and easy to assemble and operate. Rolling forward on rails, the system can be reset quickly and easily.

The Bridgebuilder Features
• Lightweight The use of rectangular hollow sections in the main structural components and recoverable high strength bars in all stays and ties reduces the total steel weight to a minimum.
• Flexible Design The Bridgebuilder may be adapted to almost any cross-section and is easily adjustable during operation to variations in segment length, box height, web thickness, deck width and road alignment (gradient, curvature, super-elevations).
• Small Deflections The vertical deflection at the front of the Bridgebuilder is less than 25 mm at maximum load. Formwork beams are designed for a maximum deflection of 1/400 of their length.
• Easy Assembly One Bridgebuilder may be assembled in one week. Rolling forward on rails, the reset time is short.
